Vision Quest Financial Services LLC is searching for full time direct hire MORTGAGE LOAN PROCESSOR candidates for the Phoenix, Arizona area. Please see job description below, and apply directly if interested.
LOCATION: Phoenix, Arizona
LENGTH: Full Time – Direct Hire
SALARY: $300 per file at close of escrow
SUMMARY Responsibilities for the Mortgage Loan Processor will include performing a variety of tasks on mortgage loan files, taking the primary responsibility for the file from set up until the file moves to closing.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to):

  • Review loan files to insure compliance with guidelines
  • Accurately input information into Point of Sale or Loan Origination system
  • Prepare files for closing and underwriting per minimum submission guidelines
  • Accurately prepare loan amounts and closing costs
  • Handle file escalations as needed by contacting team lead
  • Prioritize tasks based on importance
  • Communicate with borrowers and loan officers to request documentation and set expectations
  • Manage a pipeline of approximately 40 loans per month and submit 20-30 loans for closing per month
  • Must be able to work overtime as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

 Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent education required
  • College coursework in business or economics preferred
  • Courses in real estate of mortgage banking preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum of six months direct mortgage loan processing experience or related experience
  • Familiarity with mortgage loan documents is required
  • Prefer 1 ½ years mortgage loan processing experience
  • Prefer bilingual (English/Spanish)

Other Skills/Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of mortgage product guidelines and procedures, client requirements and regulations
  • Excellent computer and math skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adjust to changes in procedures as requested
  • Ability to multitask, remain calm under pressure, and handle a high volume of work
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to be patient yet assertive when applicable

Testing:

  • Testing for mortgage proficiency will be performed after hire
